It provides relevant information about a particular consignment, for example, the carriers, passage through Customs offices, and the receipt and disposal of waste by the disposer.

The importer is to complete block 17 in the event that it is not the disposer or recoverer and it takes charge of a shipment of waste after it arrives in the country of import.
ويقوم المستورد بملء الخانة 17 في حال إذا لم يكن هو الجهة القائمة بالتخلص أو الاستعادة وأن يتحمل مسؤولية شحنة النفايات بعد وصولها لبلد الاستيراد.

Thereafter the disposer shall be liable for damage.

The State of export must not allow a transboundary movement to begin until it has received the explicit written consent of the State of import and confirmation of the existence of a contract between the exporter and the disposer.

ويمكن استخدام إخطار عام لفترة 12 شهراً عندما تشحن نفايات خطرة أو أي نفايات أخرى لها نفس الخصائص المادية والكيميائية بصورة منتظمة إلى نفس المتخلص.

Thereafter the disposer shall be liable for damage.

Proof of coverage of the liability of the disposer shall be delivered to the competent authorities of the State of import.

(ii) The notifier has received from the State of import confirmation of the existence of a contract between the exporter and the disposer specifying the environmentally sound management of wastes in question.

The information to be provided through the notification procedure is listed in Annex V to the Convention and includes the reason for the export, the exporter, the generator, the site of generation and the process by which the wastes were generated, the nature of the wastes and their packaging, in addition to the intended itinerary, the site of disposal, the disposer and the method of disposal.
