17- ويرجى تقديم معلومات عن حجم العنف المنزلي في الدولة الطرف، وبيان طريقة معالجة العنف المنزلي بموجب " قانون حظر تشويه الأعضاء التناسلية للإناث والزواج المبكر والعنف المنزلي والجنسي لعام 2002 " ، لا سيما من حيث المقاضاة وفرض العقوبات وتنظيم حملات التوعية، والجبر وتقديم المساعدة للضحايا.

The Committee is concerned about unavailability of statistical data demonstrating the impact of the numerous measures on reducing domestic violence in the State party (art. 10).

10. The Committee notes with concern the persistence of domestic violence in the State party despite the adoption of Act No. 06/PR/2002 of 15 April 2002 and of the Criminal Code, and it regrets that the State party has not yet issued the decree implementing this law.

While noting the information provided by the State party on preventive measures taken to address violence against women, in particular domestic violence, the Committee remains concerned about the continued prevalence of domestic violence in the State party and the lack of shelters available to women.

(10) The Committee notes with concern the persistence of domestic violence in the State party despite the adoption of Act No. 06/PR/2002 of 15 April 2002 and of the Criminal Code, and it regrets that the State party has not yet issued the decree implementing this law.

(10) While noting the information provided by the State party on preventive measures taken to address violence against women, in particular domestic violence, the Committee remains concerned about the continued prevalence of domestic violence in the State party and the lack of shelters available to women.

While acknowledging the adoption of Law No. 23/2004 on domestic violence, the Committee remains concerned about the high reported incidence of domestic violence in the State party, the absence of implementing regulations, the insufficient awareness and training of law enforcement officials and allocation of Government funds to support the new system and the absence of statistical data on such phenomena.
ومع الاعتراف باعتماد القانون رقم 23/2004 المتعلق بالعنف المنزلي، لا تزال اللجنة قلقة إزاء ارتفاع حالات العنف المنزلي في الدولة الطرف حسب ما أوردته التقارير، وانعدام اللوائح التنفيذية وتدني مستوى الوعي لدى المسؤولين المكلفين بإنفاذ القانون وعدم كفاية التدريب الذي يتلقونه وعدم كفاية ما تخصصه الحكومة من أموال لدعم النظام الجديد وانعدام البيانات الإحصائية بشأن هذه الظاهرة.
