The National Centre for Human Rights has prepared a national plan of action for human rights education and public information.

Indigenous peoples have the right to have the dignity and diversity of their cultures, traditions, histories and aspirations appropriately reflected in all forms of education and public information.

3. The coordination of the United Nations education and public information programmes in the field of human rights was specifically mentioned in General Assembly resolution 48/141 of 20 December 1993, as part of the mandate of the post of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
3- ووردت في قرار الجمعية العامة 48/141 المؤرخ 20 كانون الأول/ ديسمبر 1993، إشارة محددة إلى تنسيق برامج الأمم المتحدة للتثقيف والإعلام في ميدان حقوق الإنسان، بوصفها جزءً من الولاية المنوطة بمنصب مفوض الأمم المتحدة السامي لحقوق الإنسان الذي أنشأه ذلك القرار.
