وإذ تؤكد من جديد أيضا أن التمييز على أساس نوع الجنس يتنافى مع اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة() ومع الصكوك الدولية الأخرى لحقوق الإنسان، وأن القضاء على هذا التمييز جزء لا يتجزأ من الجهود الرامية إلى القضاء على جميع أشكال العنف ضد المرأة،
