4. The United Nations and the Government of Iraq agree that the following special procedures shall apply to the initial and subsequent entries for the performance of the tasks mandated at the eight presidential sites in Iraq as defined in the annex to the present Memorandum:
٤ - توافق اﻷمم المتحدة وحكومة العراق على أن تنطبق اﻹجراءات الخاصة التالية على الدخول ﻷول مرة وفي المرات اللاحقة من أجل أداء مهام الولاية في المواقع الرئاسية الثمانية في العراق المحددة في مرفق هذه المذكرة:

23. With regard to the first entry to the eight presidential sites, the Executive Chairman and the Deputy Prime Minister stated that both sides were ready to implement, as soon as possible, the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Secretary-General and the Republic of Iraq on 23 February 1998, and to fulfil their respective obligations.
٢٣ - وفيما يتعلق بدخول اللجنة ﻷول مرة إلى المواقع الرئاسية الثمانية ذكر كل من الرئيس التنفيذي ونائب رئيس الوزراء أن الجانبين مستعدان لتنفيذ مذكرة التفاهم الموقعة بين اﻷمين العام وجمهورية العراق في ٢٣ شباط/فبراير ١٩٩٨ بأسرع ما يمكن، والوفاء بالتزاماتهما في هذا الصدد.

1. The initial entry to the eight presidential sites in Iraq, tasked by the Executive Chairman of the Special Commission (UNSCOM), was performed by mission UNSCOM 243 during the period from 25 March to 4 April 1998.

101. The report on the initial entry to the eight presidential sites has been presented separately to the Security Council, in accordance with the procedures established pursuant to the Memorandum of Understanding (see S/1998/326).
