The eleventh regular session of the Conference was organized by UNEP in May 2006 in the Congo, in collaboration with the African Union.

1. The decisions and resolutions adopted by the General Conference at its eleventh regular session (2005) are reproduced in the present document.
1- ترد في هذه الوثيقة المقرّرات والقرارات التي اعتمدها المؤتمر العام في دورته العادية الحادية عشرة (2005).

In accordance with Article 54 of the Charter of the United Nations, I have the honour to transmit to you herewith resolution No. 5856 dated 18 March 1999, entitled " Occupation by Iran of the Arab islands in the Arabian Gulf belonging to the United Arab Emirates " , adopted by the Council of the League of Arab States at its one hundred and eleventh regular session (see annex).

The Director-General shall be appointed for a period of four years from the eighth day of December two thousand one (2001), or until the Director-General to be appointed at the eleventh regular session of the General Conference assumes office, whichever is later.

Malaysia supports the views expressed during the eleventh regular session last June by the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights and fundamental freedoms of indigenous people, which included the need for enhanced coordination and cooperation among all the human rights mechanisms dealing with indigenous issues within the United Nations system.

1. The audit of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) was assigned to the Auditor-General of the Republic of South Africa for the 2006-2007 financial period by resolution GC.11/Dec.16 adopted at the eleventh regular session of the General Conference.
1- أُسندت إلى مراجع الحسابات العام في جمهورية جنوب أفريقيا مهمة مراجعة حسابات منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (اليونيدو) عن الفترة المالية 2006-2007، وذلك بمقتضى المقرر م ع-11/م-16 الذي اعتمده المؤتمر العام في دورته العادية الحادية عشرة.

In connection with this agreement, Mexico has adopted a series of measures designed to deal with this issue, such as participation in the eleventh regular meeting held within the framework of CIFTA on 23 April 2010, at which it described its progress and achievements concerning control of illicit arms trafficking.
