4. Expedited procedure for the review for the reinstatement of eligibility to use the mechanisms

Any Party included in Annex I that has been suspended from eligibility to use the mechanisms may, at any time following suspension, submit information to the secretariat on the matter or matters which led to the suspension of eligibility.
149- يجوز لأي طرف مدرج في المرفق الأول عُلِّقت أهليته لاستخدام الآليات أن يقدم، في أي وقت عقب تعليق أهليته، معلومات إلى الأمانة عن المسألة أو المسائل التي أدت إلى تعليق الأهلية.

For the first commitment period, the quality assessment needed for determining eligibility to use the mechanisms shall be limited to the parts of the inventory pertaining to emissions of GHGs from the sources listed in Annex A to the Kyoto Protocol and the submission of the annual inventory on sinks;

The COP, by its decision 23/CP.7, requested the SBSTA at its sixteenth session, to elaborate the procedures, timing and reporting for the review under Article 8 of information for the reinstatement of eligibility to use the mechanisms under Articles 6, 12 and 17, as contained in appendix II to the decision The COP invited Parties to submit their views to the secretariat on this matter.
وطلب مؤتمر الأطراف بموجب المقرر 23/م أ-7 إلى الهيئة الفرعية للمشورة العلمية والتكنولوجية أن تعمل في دورتها السادسة عشرة على تحديد الإجراءات وعنصري التوقيت والإبلاغ بشأن استعراض المعلومات بموجب المادة 8 لاستعادة الأهلية لاستخدام الآليات بموجب المواد 6 و12 و17 على النحو الوارد في التذييل الثاني لهذا المقرر؛ كما دعا الأطراف إلى تقديم آرائها إلى الأمانة عن هذه المسألة.
