10.1 Balances due to Member States represent the unspent balance of collections, assessed contributions received for prior years and the excess interest over the budget estimate, pending distribution to eligible Member States or their instructions on its use.
١٠-١- تمثل الأرصدة المستحقة للدول الأعضاء الرصيد غير المنفق من المبالغ المحصّلة، والاشتراكات المقرّرة الواردة عن السنوات السابقة، وقيمة الفائدة التي تزيد على الحد المقدّر لها في الميزانية، ريثما تُوزّع هذه الأرصدة على الدول الأعضاء صاحبة الحق فيها أو تقدِّم هذه الدول تعليماتها بشأن استخدامها.

Funds amounting to Euro418,214 were credited on 1 January 2003 to eligible Member States when their assessed contributions for the year 2003 were calculated.

11. In January 2004, further unencumbered balances relating to the bienniums 1992-1993, 1996-1997, 1998-1999 and 2000-2001 amounting to Euro4,367,691 were distributed to eligible Member States.
11- وفي كانون الثاني/يناير 2004، وُزعت حصص أخرى من الأرصدة غير المستغلة المتعلقة بفترات السنتين 1992-199٣ و1996-1997 و1998-1999 و2000-2001، بلغ حجمها 691 ٣67 4 يورو، على الدول الأعضاء المستحقة.

(h) Unencumbered balances of appropriations and income from new Member States (total amount Euro4,441,022) and the respective share was distributed to eligible Member States.

Resolution GC.8/Res.4, inter alia, strongly encouraged Member States to renounce their shares of unencumbered balances and authorized the Secretariat to retain these funds in a special account should no request for the surrendering of such balances be received from eligible Member States by a specified date; no further communication was required from the Secretariat.
ففي القرار م ع-8/ق-4 شجع المؤتمر العام الدول الأعضاء بقوة، على التنازل عن أنصبتها في أرصدة الاعتمادات غير المرتبط بها وأذن للأمانة باستبقاء هذه الأموال في حساب خاص إذا لم تتلق من الدول الأعضاء المستحقة طلبا لرد هذه الأرصدة حتى تاريخ معين.

They also encouraged eligible Member States to consider multi-year payment plans in order to settle their budget arrears.
وهي تشجع أيضا الدول الأعضاء المؤهلة على النظر في خطط التسديد المتعددة السنوات من أجل تسوية متأخراتها من الميزانية.

14. In establishing the sample, interest was solicited from the 20 eligible Member States.
