غير أن اللجنة، التي تؤمن بأن القضاء على بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في المواد الإباحية يتطلب اتباع نهج شمولي يعالج العوامل التي تساهم في هذه الظواهر، تعرب عن قلقها إزاء ما يلي:

The Committee believes that the elimination of the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography will be facilitated by adopting a holistic approach, addressing the contributing factors, including, inter alia, underdevelopment, poverty, economic disparities, harmful traditional practices, armed conflicts and trafficking in children.
314- تعتقد اللجنة أن القضاء على بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في المواد الإباحية سيتيسر باعتماد نهج جامع، يتصدى للعوامل المساهمة في ذلك والتي تشمل التخلف والفقر والتفاوت الاقتصادي والممارسات التقليدية الضارة والنزاعات المسلحة والاتجار بالأطفال.

39- تعتقد اللجنة أن القضاء على بيع الأطفال وبغاء الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في المواد الإباحية سيتيسر باعتماد نهج جامع، يتصدى للعوامل المساهمة في ذلك والتي تشمل التخلف والفقر والتفاوت الاقتصادي والممارسات التقليدية الضارة والنزاعات المسلحة والاتجار بالأطفال.

The seventh preambular paragraph of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography recognizes that the elimination of the sale of children, child prostitution and child pornography will be facilitated by adopting a holistic approach addressing the contributing factors, including, inter alia, an inequitable socio-economic structure.
18- وتقرّ الفقرة السابعة من ديباجة البروتوكول الاختياري الملحق باتفاقية حقوق الطفل بشأن بيع الأطفال واستغلال الأطفال في البغاء وفي المواد الإباحية، بأن القضاء على بيع الأطفال واستغلالهم في البغاء وفي المواد الإباحية سيتيسر باعتماد نهج جامع يتصدى للعوامل المساهمة في ذلك والتي تشمل، من ضمن عوامل أخرى، الهياكل الاجتماعية الاقتصادية الجائرة.
