Calls upon all States to give their full attention to the implementation of the Plan of Action on the elimination of traditional practices affecting the health of women and children and requests the Secretary—General to invite them to submit to the Sub—Commission regular information on the situation regarding traditional practices in their country;

83. With reference to the plan of action for the elimination of traditional practices affecting the health of women and children, the Government has reported that such practices do not exist in Portugal.
