2. Requests the Secretary-General to make additional proposals to increase further the resources of the human rights programme in 1994-1995, so as to enable the Centre fully to discharge its duties implementing all the mandates assigned to it by the General Assembly and other legislative bodies;
٢ - تطلب إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقدم مقترحات إضافية بهدف زيادة موارد برنامج حقوق اﻹنسان مرة أخرى في فترة السنتين ١٩٩٤-١٩٩٥، من أجل تمكين المركز من الاضطلاع على الوجه التام بواجباته فى تنفيذ جميع الولايات التي أوكلتها إليه الجمعية العامة وغيرها من الهيئات التشريعية؛

Participants, recalling General Assembly resolution 56/123 of 19 December 2001, called upon the Secretary-General to provide increased resources from the regular budget of the United Nations in order to enable the Centre to discharge its work, taking into account the priority of the new mandates entrusted to it.
ودعا المشاركون الأمين العام، مستذكرين قرار الجمعية العامــة 56/123 المؤرخ 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001، إلى زيادة الموارد المقدمة من الميزانية العادية للأمم المتحدة بغية تمكين المركز من القيام بعمله نظرا لأولوية المهام الجديدة المنوطة به.

Consolidating the activities of the Centre with existing United Nations regional operations appears to provide a solution to the current challenge, allow for better use of synergies, increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness, and most important, enable the Centre to fulfil its mandate in responding to the demands and needs of Africa in the field of peace and disarmament.

6. Urges the Secretary-General to complete, without any further delay, the internal procedure for finalizing the host country agreement and the related memorandum of understanding and to ensure the physical operation of the Regional Centre from Kathmandu within six months of the date of signature of the host country agreement and to enable the Centre to function effectively;
6 - تحث الأمين العام على أن يستكمل، دون مزيد من التأخير، الإجراءات الداخلية لوضع الصيغة النهائية للاتفاق مع البلد المضيف ومذكرة التفاهم المتصلة به، وأن يكفل التشغيل الفعلي للمركز الإقليمي من كاتماندو خلال ستة أشهر من تاريخ التوقيع على الاتفاق مع البلد المضيف وتمكين المركز من العمل بفعالية؛

This three-year project, currently with the competent bodies of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights for examination and approval, should enable the Centre to carry out the following activities in particular:
