Consistent with article 10 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child 27/ and all relevant universally recognized human rights instruments, all Governments, particularly those of receiving countries, must recognize the vital importance of family reunification and promote its integration into their national legislation in order to ensure protection of the unity of the families of documented migrants.
ويجب أن تعترف جميع الحكومات، لا سيما حكومات البلدان المستقبلة، تمشيا مع المادة ١٠ من اتفاقية حقوق الطفل)٢٧( وجميع صكوك حقوق اﻹنسان ذات الصلة المعترف بها عالميا، باﻷهمية الحيوية للم شمل اﻷسرة وأن تعزز ادماجه في تشريعاتها الوطنية من أجل كفالة حماية وحدة أسر المهاجرين الذين يحملون وثائق.
