The attention of the Commission is drawn to the provisions of section VI of General Assembly resolution 45/248 B of 21 December 1990, in which the Assembly reaffirmed that the Fifth Committee was the appropriate Main Committee of the Assembly entrusted with responsibilities for administrative and budgetary matters; and reaffirmed also the role of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions.
4- ويُسترعى انتباه اللجنة إلى أحكام الباب السادس من قرار الجمعية العامة 45/248 باء المؤرّخ 21 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1990، الذي أكدت فيه الجمعية مجددا أن اللجنة الخامسة هي اللجنة الرئيسية المناسبة، من بين لجان الجمعية، التي أنيطت بها مسؤوليات بشأن المسائل الخاصة بالإدارة والميزانية وأكدت فيه مجددا أيضا دور اللجنة الاستشارية لشؤون الإدارة والميزانية.

She noted, in that connection, that the General Assembly had reaffirmed the role of the Fifth Committee as the appropriate Main Committee entrusted with responsibilities for administrative and budgetary matters.
وأشارت في هذا الصدد إلى أن الجمعية العامة قد أعادت التأكيد على دور اللجنة الخامسة بوصفها اللجنة الرئيسية المختصة الموكلة بمسؤولية شؤون الإدارة والميزانية.

The Chairman of the Fifth Committee had drawn attention to General Assembly resolution 45/248 D VI, in which the Assembly reaffirmed that the Fifth Committee was the appropriate Main Committee entrusted with responsibilities for administrative and budgetary matters. The Fifth Committee's exclusive jurisdiction in that area was also confirmed in rule 153 of the rules of procedure of the General Assembly.
وأردف قائلا إن رئيس اللجنة الخامسة قد لفت الانتباه إلى قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٤/٨٤٢ دال - سادسا، الذي تجدد فيه الجمعية تأكيدها على أن اللجنة الخامسة هي اللجنة الرئيسية المختصة التي يعهد إليها بمسؤوليات اﻷمور اﻹدارية والمتعلقة بالميزانية؛ كما أن المادة ٣٥١ من النظام الداخلي للجمعية العامة تؤكد ولاية اللجنة الخامسة في هذا المجال حصرا.
