50. On 6 November, Cuba submitted a draft resolution entitled " Adherence to environmental standards in the elaboration and implementation of disarmament and arms control agreements " (A/C.1/50/L.41), which read as follows:
٥٠ - في ٦ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قدمت كوبا مشروع قرار بعنوان " الالتزام بالقواعد البيئية في وضع وتطبيق اتفاقات نزع السلاح وتحديد اﻷسلحة " (A/C.1/50/L.41) وفيما يلي نصه:

- The third Presidential Council for Foreign Investors (2007), dealing with the problems of adhering to environmental standards in the business sphere;
- الدورة الثالثة للمجلس الرئاسي للمستثمرين الأجانب في جمهورية كازاخستان لعام 2007، الذي نوقشت فيه مشاكل الامتثال للمعايير البيئية في مجال الأعمال التجارية؛

The rules also require compliance with environmental standards in the host country, the screening and classification of potential environmental impact and the carrying out of environmental impact assessments for projects with potential significant adverse environmental impact, as well as the screening of projects against the World Bank safeguard policies or, where appropriate, the International Finance Corporation performance standards.
