25. To help it deal with its large backlog of reports, the Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights has been authorized by the General Assembly in section IV of resolution 54/251 of 23 December 1999 to hold two extraordinary sessions for the purpose of examining reports of States parties.
25 - ومن أجل تمكين لجنة الحقوق الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والثقافية من التخفيف من عبء التقارير الكثيرة المتراكمة، أذنت الجمعية العامة في الجزء رابعا من قرارها 54/251 المؤرخ 23 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1999، بعقد دورتين استثنائيتين لغرض النظر في تقارير الدول الأطراف.

12. Requests human rights treatymonitoring bodies to consider adopting a general comment on human rights education and to place emphasis, when examining reports of States parties, on the obligations of States parties in the area of human rights education and information, and to reflect this emphasis in their concluding observations;
12- تطلب إلى هيئات رصد معاهدات حقوق الإنسان أن تنظر في اعتماد تعليق عام بشأن التثقيف في مجال حقوق الإنسان والتركيز لدى النظر في تقارير الدول الأطراف على التزامات هذه الدول في مجال التثقيف والإعلام بشأن حقوق الإنسان وأن تعبر عن هذا التركيز في ملاحظاتها الختامية؛

10. Encourages the human rights treaty bodies, within their mandates, when examining reports of States parties, to consider the activities of States parties in the area of human rights education;
10 - تشجع الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات حقوق الإنسان على النظر، كل في إطار ولايتها، لدى دراسة تقارير الدول الأطراف في أنشطة الدول الأطراف في مجال التثقيف في حقوق الإنسان؛

41. The United Nations treaty bodies, when examining reports of States parties, will be called upon to place emphasis on the obligation of States parties to implement human rights education in the school systems and to reflect that emphasis in their concluding observations.
41 - ستكون هيئات الأمم المتحدة المنشأة بموجب معاهدات مطالبة أثناء دراستها لتقارير الدول الأعضاء بالتركيز على التزام الدول الأطراف بتنفيذ التثقيف في مجال حقوق الإنسان في الأنظمة المدرسية، وأن تعكس هذا التركيز في ملاحظاتها الختامية.
