The Government expressed its concern over the continued use of unilateral coercive measures by certain powers as tools of political or economic pressure against any country, particularly against developing countries, with a view to preventing those countries from exercising their right to decide of their own free will, their own political, economic and social systems.
وأعربت الحكومة عن قلقها إزاء استمرار بعض القوى في استخدام التدابير القسرية المتخذة من جانب واحد كأدوات للضغط السياسي أو الاقتصادي على أي بلد، ولا سيما على البلدان النامية، وذلك بهدف منعها من ممارسة حقها في أن تقرر بمحض إرادتها نظمها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية.

In that regard, they condemned the use of coercive economic measures designed to prevent countries from exercising their right to decide their own political, economic and social systems, and they also called on all countries not to recognize unilateral, extraterritorial laws enacted to impose sanctions on other States and foreign companies.
وفي هذا الصدد أدانوا استعمال تدابير اقتصادية قسرية ترمي إلى منع بلدان من ممارسة حقها في تقرير نظمها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية، ودعوا أيضا جميع البلدان إلى عدم الاعتراف بالقوانين الأحادية المتجاوزة للحدود الإقليمية والموضوعة لفرض جزاءات على دول أخرى وشركات أجنبية.

They observed that such measures were used as a tool for political or economic pressure against countries with opposing views, to prevent those countries from exercising their right to decide, of their own free will, their own political, economic and social systems and posed obstacles to international relations and trade.
