The present report was prepared pursuant to Economic and Social Council resolution 2011/33 on prevention, protection and international cooperation against the use of new information technologies to abuse and/or exploit children.
ملخَّص أُعدَّ هذا التقرير عملاً بقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2011/33 المتعلق بالمنع والحماية والتعاون الدولي في مجال مكافحة استعمال تكنولوجيات المعلومات الجديدة بغرض الاعتداء على الأطفال و/أو استغلالهم.

The Committee further urges the State party to ensure that those who economically exploit children and abuse domestic workers are duly brought to justice.
كما تحث الدولة الطرف على ضمان مقاضاة من يستغلون الأطفال اقتصادياً ويسيئون إلى خدم المنازل.

According to non-governmental sources, the same principle also applies in Belgium and New Zealand, if nationals from these countries exploit children abroad.
ووفقاً لمصادر غير حكومية، تُطبق بلجيكا ونيوزيلندا نفس المبدأ إذا قام مواطنوهما باستغلال الأطفال في الخارج.

The present report is submitted to the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice at its twenty-third session, pursuant to Economic and Social Council resolution 2011/33 on prevention, protection and international cooperation against the use of new information technologies to abuse and/or exploit children.

The Committee is also concerned at the low rate of prosecutions of those who sexually exploit children and that there is little in the way of public campaigns to educate the population about the laws governing sexual exploitation.
وتشعر اللجنة بالقلق كذلك إزاء تدني نسبة الملاحقات القضائية بحقّ الذين يستغلون الأطفال جنسياً وإزاء ندرة الحملات العامة الهادفة إلى تثقيف السكان بشأن القوانين التي تحكم الاستغلال الجنسي.

The Committee also recommends that the State party establish a monitoring mechanism for the investigation and redress of such abuse, with a view to improving accountability, transparency and the prevention of violations to the Convention, as well as ensure the effective prosecution and punishment of those who exploit children for purposes of prostitution, forced labour or pornography.
وتوصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف أيضاً بإنشاء آلية رصد للتحقيق في هذا الانتهاك وإتاحة سبل الانتصاف بشأنه، بغية تحسين المساءلة والشفافية ومنع حدوث انتهاكات لأحكام الاتفاقية، وتوصيها كذلك بمقاضاة من يستغلون الأطفال لأغراض البغاء أو العمل الجبري أو المواد الإباحية ومعاقبتهم بشكل فعال.

(e) Ensure that those who sexually exploit children are prosecuted.
