(e) In accordance with the strategy in paragraph (b) above, the Party has adopted measures to prevent or minimize human exposure to and release into the environment of the chemical for which the extension is requested and to ensure availability of public information regarding release prevention controls;

(e) In the case of a developing country Party or a Party with an economy in transition, the Party has requested technical assistance pursuant to Article 12 or financial assistance pursuant to Article 13 of the Convention in order to phase out as soon as is feasible the production for which the extension is requested.
(ﻫ) قيام الطرف في حالة كونه بلداً نامياً أو بلداً يمر اقتصاده بمرحلة انتقال، يطلب مساعدة تقنية عملاً بالمادة 12 من الاتفاقية أو مساعدة مالية عملاً بالمادة 13 منها من أجل التخلص التدريجي من الإنتاج الذي يطلب التمديد بشأنه في أقرب وقت ممكن عملياً.

(d) The chemical for which the extension is requested is not available in sufficient quantity and quality from existing stockpiles, bearing in mind the need for the chemical by developing countries or countries with economies in transition;
(د) عدم توافر المادة الكيميائية التي يطلب التمديد بشأنها بشكل كافٍ من حيث الكم والنوع من المخزونات الموجودة، مع الأخذ في الاعتبار حاجة البلدان النامية أو البلدان التي تمر اقتصاداتها بمرحلة انتقال إلى هذه المادة الكيميائية؛

Should the Government persist in its position that such an extension is not acceptable, however, the Security Council may wish to consider the other options outlined in paragraph 59 above.
وإذا ظلت الحكومة مصرَّة على موقفها بأن هذا التمديد غير مقبول، فقد يود مجلس الأمن أن ينظر في الخيارات الأخرى المبينة في الفقرة 59 أعلاه.
