11. The CHAIRMAN said he took it that the Committee decided to continue its consideration of the question of strengthening external oversight mechanisms during the third part of the resumed fifty-first session.

In view of the time constraints, he proposed that the Committee should defer consideration of the question of the strengthening of external oversight mechanisms under item 114 until the resumed fifty-second session, and should request the officers of the Committee to decide when the issue should be considered.
