In addition, in 2004 the United Arab Emirates ratified the Gulf Cooperation Council convention on counter-terrorism by Federal Decree No. 45 of 2004.
كما صادقت الدولة أيضا في عام 2004 على اتفاقية دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربي لمكافحة الإرهاب، بموجب المرسوم الاتحادي رقم 54 لسنة 2004.

The United Arab Emirates ratified the 1999 International Convention for the Suppression of the Financing of Terrorism by Federal Decree No. 91 of 2005, issued on 10 August 2005. The instrument of ratification has been deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
:: صادقت الدولة على الاتفاقية الدولية لقمع تمويل الإرهاب لعام 1999 بموجب المرسوم الاتحادي رقم (91) لسنة 2005 والصادر بتاريخ 10 آب/أغسطس 2005، وتم إيداع وثيقة التصديق لدى الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة.

(4) The Committee welcomes the repeal in March 1998, following its previous recommendations (see CCPR/C/79/Add.70, para. 28), of the Federal Decree on Political Speeches by Foreigners, which restricted the freedom of expression of foreigners without a permanent residence permit.
(4) وترحب اللجنة بقيام الدولة الطرف في آذار/مارس 1998، بعد صدور توصيات عن اللجنة بهذا الشأن (انظر الفقرة 28 من الوثيقة CCPR/C/79/Add.70)، بإلغاء المرسوم الاتحادي بشأن الخطب السياسية التي يلقيها الأجانب، وهو المرسوم الذي كان يقيد حرية التعبير من قبل الأجانب الذين لا يحملون تصاريح إقامة دائمة.

The National Human Rights Program (Federal Decree nº 1.904 of 13 May 1996) - which aims, among other things, at implementing, in the short-, medium-, and long-term those measures to promote and defend human rights - has established, with regard to the education of women, the following actions to be implemented:

The National Human Rights Program (Federal Decree nº 1.904 of 13 May 1996), which is currently being revised and updated, has the objective, among other things, of implementing, in the medium and long term, measures to protect women's jobs.
- البرنامج الوطني لحقوق الإنسان (المرسوم الاتحادي رقم 1904، المؤرخ 13 أيار/ مايو 1996)، الذي يجري حالياً تنقيحه واستكماله، يهدف، في جملة أمور، إلى تنفيذ التدابير المتوسطة والطويلة الأجل الرامية إلى حماية وظائف النساء.

The United Arab Emirates ratified the 1997 International Convention for the Suppression of Terrorist Bombings by Federal Decree No. 92 of 2005, dated 10 August 2005. The instrument of ratification has been deposited with the Secretary-General of the United Nations.
:: صادقت الدولة على الاتفاقية الدولية لقمع الهجمات الإرهابية بالقنابل لعام 1997 بموجب المرسوم الاتحادي رقم (92) لسنة 2005 بتاريخ 10 آب/أغسطس 2005 وتم إيداع وثيقة التصديق لدى الأمين العام للأمم المتحدة.

The United Arab Emirates ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) on 6 October 2004 pursuant to Federal Decree No. 38 of 2004, with reservations concerning the texts of articles 2, subparagraph (f); 9; 15, paragraph 2; 16; and 29, paragraph 1, of the Convention, as set forth below:
صادقت دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة على اتفاقية القضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز ضد المرأة في 6 تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 2004 بموجب المرسوم الاتحادي رقم 38 لسنة 2004، مع التحفظ على نصوص المواد 2، فقرة (و)، و 9، و 15 فقرة (2)، و 16، و 29 فقرة (1) من الاتفاقية على النحو المبين أدناه:
