(a) To support coherent international decision-making processes for environmental governance, the subprogramme will assist the Governing Council/Global Ministerial Environment Forum to promote international cooperation in the field of environment and set the global environmental agenda.
(أ) لدعم عمليات دولية متسقة لصنع القرارات المتعلقة بالحوكمة البيئية، سيساعد البرنامج الفرعي مجلس إدارة برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة/المنتدى البيئي الوزاري العالمي على تشجيع التعاون الدولي في المجال البيئي ووضع جدول الأعمال الدولي الخاص بالبيئة.

5. Stresses that the United Nations Environment Programme, as the principal body in the field of environment within the United Nations system, should continue to play an important role in the implementation of Agenda 21 and in the preparation of the ten-year review of progress achieved in the implementation of the outcome of the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development;
