Recalling its resolution 50/227 of 24 May 1996, annex I, section VIII, on the relationship between the United Nations and the international finance and trade institutions, as well as other relevant resolutions,
وإذ تشير إلى الفرع الثامن من المرفق اﻷول من قرار الجمعية العامة ٥٠/٢٢٧ المؤرخ ٢٤ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٦ بشأن العلاقة بين اﻷمم المتحدة والمؤسسات المالية والتجارية الدولية وإلى قراراتها اﻷخرى ذات الصلة،

The most effective follow-up to be given to the above provisions of Council resolution 1996/36 and General Assembly resolution 50/227, as well as to those concerning relationships between the United Nations and the international finance and trade institutions, will be given special attention in the context of these discussions.

High-level segments should include focused dialogue, with the active participation of agencies, funds, programmes and other organizations of the United Nations system, international finance and trade institutions, and representatives of major groups at the appropriate level, taking into account paragraphs 139 (g) and 149 (c) and (d) of the Johannesburg Plan of Implementation;

(d) High-level policy dialogue with international finance and trade institutions. This would bring the executive heads of these institutions to the Council to hold a discussion with Member States on the current global economic situation.
(د) الحوار الرفيع المستوى بشأن السياسات مع المؤسسات المالية والتجارية الدولية - من شأن هذا الحوار أن يحذو بالرؤساء التنفيذيين لهذه المؤسسات إلى حضور دورات المجلس لإجراء مناقشات مع الدول الأعضاء بشأن الوضع الاقتصادي العالمي الحالي.

33. The Council could devote a part of its regular session's high-level segment, for example one session during the policy dialogue on the first day, to addressing, in a round table or panel format, financing issues related to the theme of the high-level segment, with the participation of the finance and trade institutions and other stakeholders.
33 - وفي وسع المجلس أن يُكرس قسما من جزئه الرفيع المستوى من دورته العادية، أي جلسة واحدة مثلا أثناء الحوار المتعلق بالسياسات، الذي يجري في اليوم الأول من الدورة، للقيام في سياق مائدة مستديرة أو مناقشة فريق من المختصين، بتناول المسائل المالية المتصلة بموضوع الجزء الرفيع المستوى، وذلك بمشاركة المؤسسات المالية والتجارية وغيرها من أصحاب المصالح الآخرين.
