B. Expansion of assistance through the use of First Account resources

5. The resources of the First Account are to be used for financing projects aiming at commodity price stabilization.
٥ - وتستخدم موارد الحساب اﻷول لتمويل المشاريع التي تهدف الى تثبيت أسعار السلع اﻷساسية.

Currently, the Fund is looking at ways to activate the First Account within an objective of price stabilization and security outside of buffer stock proposals.
وفي الوقت الراهن، يتطلع الصندوق الى طرق لتنشيط الحساب اﻷول في إطار هدف تثبيت اﻷسعار واﻷمن خارج مقترحات المخزونات الاحتياطية.

18. In addition to the above operational activities, the Fund is in the process of studying various options for the activities of the resources of the First Account.
١٨ - باﻹضافة إلى اﻷنشطة التنفيذية المذكورة أعلاه، يقوم الصندوق حاليا بدراسة خيارات شتى ﻷنشطة موارد الحساب اﻷول.

83. The members of the Common Fund should consider fulfilling as soon as possible their pledges made for the second account of the Fund. The Common Fund is encouraged to explore effective ways and means of using the resources of the First Account.

4. The operational activities of the Fund were designed to focus on two directions and, accordingly, resources were categorized into two specific accounts, namely, the First Account and the Second Account.

25. Considering the ongoing and growing operational activities of the Second Account as well as the perspectives for the use of the resources of the First Account of the Fund, and noting the observations contained in section III above, there is clearly a role for the Common Fund to play in the diversification effort for the commodity sector in Africa.
٢٥ - في ضوء أنشطة الحساب الثاني التشغيلية الجارية والمتنامية، فضلا عن منظورات استخدام موارد الحساب اﻷول للصندوق، واستنادا إلى الملاحظات المدرجة في الفرع ' ثالثا ' أعلاه، من الواضح أن هناك دورا للصندوق المشترك في جهود تنويع قطاع السلع اﻷساسية في افريقيا.

The First Account - the Core Budget Administrative Account - in which the contributions from the Parties to the Convention are deposited, and the second account - the Voluntary Contributions Administrative Expenses Account - which is capitalized with voluntary contributions, are intended for the operations of the Office of the Global Mechanism.
فالهدف من الحساب الأول - الحساب الإداري للميزانية لأساسية - الذي تودع فيه اشتراكات الأطراف في الاتفاقية، والحساب الثاني - حساب التبرعات للنفقات الإدارية - الذي يمول من التبرعات، هو تمويل عمليات مكتب الآلية العالمية.
