Concerning the subject and the timing of the review, the COP decided that the first session of the CRIC would take up updates to reports already available and/or new reports from all regions.
وفيما يتعلق بموضوع الاستعراض وتوقيته، قرر مؤتمر الأطراف أن تنظر الدورة الأولى للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية في تحديثات للتقارير التي أتيحت من قبل و/أو في تقارير جديدة من جميع المناطق.

17. In accordance with the provisions contained in decision 1/COP.5, it is proposed that the first session of the CRIC be divided into two segments.

وقرر مؤتمر الأطراف أيضاً أن تقوم الدورة الأولى للجنة استعراض تنفيذ الاتفاقية باستعراض استيفاءات التقارير المتاحة فعلاً و/أو التقارير الجديدة، وأن يركز الاستعراض على قضايا مواضيعية معينة.

The first review following this decision, which will include the Asian country Parties, will take place at the first session of the CRIC in November 2002.
