وإذ تلاحظ ببالغ القلق حالات التعصب والتمييز وأعمال العنف في أنحاء شتى من العالم، ومنها حالات مبعثها التمييز في حق أشخاص ينتمون إلى أقليات دينية، إضافة إلى الصورة السلبية عن اتباع الديانات وإنفاذ تدابير تتحيز تحديدا ضد أشخاص بسبب دينهم أو معتقدهم،

5. To call upon the United Nations General Assembly to support the outcome reached by the Conference, and to benefit from it to push the dialogue among the followers of religions, civilizations and cultures by holding a special session on dialogue.
