1. The area covered by each application for approval of a plan of work for exploration for cobalt-rich crusts shall be comprised of not more than 100 blocks which shall be arranged by the applicant in clusters, as set out in paragraph 2 below.

Requests the Secretary-General of the Authority to issue the plan of work for exploration for cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts in the form of a contract between the Authority and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation in accordance with the Regulations on Prospecting and Exploration for Cobalt-rich Ferromanganese Crusts in the Area.1
5 - يطلب إلى الأمين العام للسلطة إصدار خطة العمل لاستكشاف القشور المنغنيزية الحديدية الغنية بالكوبالت في شكل عقد مبرم بين السلطة ووزارة الموارد الطبيعية والبيئة بالاتحاد الروسي وفقا لنظام التنقيب عن القشور المنغنيزية الحديدية الغنية بالكوبالت واستكشافها داخل المنطقة 1.

3. Requests the Secretary-General of the Authority to issue the plan of work for exploration for cobalt-rich ferromanganese crusts in the form of a contract between the Authority and Companhia de Pesquisa de Recursos Minerais in accordance with the Regulations on Prospecting and Exploration for Cobalt-rich Ferromanganese Crusts in the Area.1
