14.15 The responsibility for this subprogramme lies with the African Centre for Gender and Development. The subprogramme will be implemented by pursuing the following strategy:

The Women's Committee of Uzbekistan had strengthened its ties with foreign women's organizations, some of which had assisted the Committee in establishing information centres on gender issues and crisis centres in major cities in the country.
