كذلك أُعلمت اللجنة في مذكرة شفوية بتاريخ 14 حزيران/ يونيه 2002، بأن مجموعة الدول الافريقية قد أيّدت ترشيح الجماهيرية العربية الليبية لعضوية اللجنة.

The Council endorsed the decision of the Secretary-General to approve an application from Kenya for membership in the Committee of Experts, including its two subcommittees, and an application from the Republic of Korea for membership in the Subcommittee of Experts on the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals.

5. Pursuant to article 34, paragraph 6, of the Convention, all States parties to the Convention were requested by a note verbale dated 3 May 2010 to submit nominations for membership in the Committee by 1 July 2010.
5 - عملا بالفقرة 6 من المادة 34 من الاتفاقية، طُلب من جميع الدول الأطراف في الاتفاقية بموجب مذكرة شفوية مؤرخة 3 أيار/مايو 2010 أن تقدم الترشيحات للعضوية في اللجنة بحلول 1 تموز/يوليه 2010.

7. The Committee took note of the Economic and Social Council's resolution 2011/25 of 27 July 2011 and noted that, since no applications for membership in the Committee or any of its sub-committees were received during the period 2011-2012, it remains as follows:
7- أحاطت اللجنة علماً بقرار المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي 2011/25 المؤرخ 27 تموز/يوليه 2011، ولاحظت أنه نظراً لعدم تلقي أي طلب للعضوية في اللجنة أو في أي من لجانها الفرعية خلال الفترة 2011-2012، فستظل هذه العضوية كما يلي:

The Subcommittee noted the application of Azerbaijan for membership in the Committee (A/AC.105/C.2/2011/CRP.15).
7- وأحاطت اللجنة الفرعية علما بالطلب المقدَّم من أذربيجان للانضمام إلى عضوية اللجنة (A/AC.105/C.2/2011/CRP.15).

The Subcommittee took note of the application of Luxembourg for membership in the Committee (A/AC.105/C.1/2014/CRP.4).
10- وأحاطت اللجنة الفرعية علماً بطلب لكسمبرغ الانضمام إلى عضوية اللجنة (A/AC.105/C.1/2014/CRP.4).

The Committee noted that the Group of 77 and China, the Group of African States and the Group of Latin American and Caribbean States, as well as other member States, had supported the request by Algeria for membership in the Committee.
ولاحظت اللجنة أن مجموعة الـ 77 والصين، ومجموعة الدول الأفريقية، ومجموعة دول أمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبـي، وكذلك دول أعضاء أخرى، قد أيدت طلب الجزائر الحصول على العضوية في اللجنة.
