25. The Advisory Committee notes from paragraph 238 of the report that the Board also agreed with the need to provide an improved operational management structure for the Investment Management Service of the Fund and, consequently, endorsed the reclassification of the post of the Chief of the Service, from the D-1 to the D-2 level.

It was noted that the support of the representatives of the Secretary-General for the recommendation to reduce contractual services for the Investment Management Service was made on the proviso that the subject would be revisited by the Board in 2006, taking into account discussions and decisions concerning the implementation of the recommendations of Deloitte and Touche over the 2006-2007 biennium.
