٦ - وفي القرار نفسه، طلب مجلس اﻷمن الي أيضا أن أقوم، في سياق اﻷنظمة الحالية لﻷمم المتحدة، بدراسة جدوى نقل المعدات غير الفتاكة الموجودة لدى البعثة لاستخدامها في رواندا.

٤٦ - واشار إلى أن مجلس اﻷمن طلب، في قراره ١٠٢٩ )١٩٩٥(، إلى اﻷمين العام أن يقوم بدراسة جدوى نقل المعدات غير الفتاكة من البعثة لاستخدامها في رواندا.

9. In paragraph 3 of its resolution 1053 (1996) of 23 April 1996, the Security Council expressed its determination that the prohibition on the sale or supply of arms and related matériel to non-governmental forces for use in Rwanda should be implemented fully in accordance with resolution 1011 (1995).
٩ - أعرب مجلس اﻷمن، في الفقرة ٣ من قراره ١٠٥٣ )١٩٩٦( المؤرخ ٢٣ نيسان/أبريل ١٩٩٦، عن تصميمه على ضرورة تنفيذ الحظر المفروض على بيع أو توريد اﻷسلحة واﻷعتدة ذات الصلة إلى القوات غير الحكومية لاستخدامها في رواندا تنفيذا كاملا وفقا للقرار ١٠١١ )١٩٩٥(.

In this connection, it will be recalled that paragraph 7 of Security Council resolution 1029 (1995) requested me " to examine, in the context of existing United Nations regulations, the feasibility of transferring UNAMIR non-lethal equipment, as elements of UNAMIR withdraw, for use in Rwanda " .
