Noting the statement by the President of the forty-third regular session of the General Conference of the Agency, which was endorsed by the General Conference at its tenth plenary meeting and issued under the item concerning Israeli nuclear capabilities and threat, that:
وإذ تشير إلى البيان الذي أدلى به رئيس الدورة العادية الثالثة واﻷربعين للمؤتمر العام للوكالة الذي أيﱠده المؤتمر العام في الجلسـة العامـة العاشـرة والصادر في إطار البند المتعلق بالقدرات والتهديدات النوويـة اﻹسرائيلية، والذي جاء فيه أنه:

The Board also, inter alia, approved the provisional agenda for its forty-third (regular) session, scheduled for 7-18 October 1996 (annex II).

3. Takes note of resolution GC(43)RES/23, adopted on 1 October 1999 by the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency at its forty-third regular session, concerning the application of Agency safeguards in the Middle East;
٣ - تحيط علما بالقرار GC(42)/RES/23 الذي اتخذه في ١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٩ المؤتمر العام للوكالة الدولية للطاقة الذرية في دورته العادية الثالثة واﻷربعين بشأن تطبيق ضمانات الوكالة في الشرق اﻷوسط؛

Recalling resolution GC(43)/RES/19 on the amendment to article VI of the statute and the statement by the President of the forty-third regular session of the General Conference of the Agency with respect to article VI, adopted on 1 October 1999 by the General Conference,
وإذ تشير إلى القرار GC(43)/RES/19 بشأن تعديل المادة السادسة من النظام اﻷساسي والبيان الذي أدلى به رئيس الدورة العادية الثالثة واﻷربعين للمؤتمر العام للوكالة بشأن المادة السادسة، الذي اتخذه المؤتمر العام في ١ تشرين اﻷول/أكتوبر ١٩٩٩،

9. Requests the Director General to submit to the Board of Governors and to the General Conference at its forty-third regular session a report on the implementation of this resolution and to include in the provisional agenda for that session an item entitled “Application of International Atomic Energy Agency safeguards in the Middle East”.
٩ - يرجو من المدير العام أن يقدم لمجلس المحافظين وللمؤتمر العام في دورته العادية الثالثة واﻷربعين تقريرا عن تنفيذ هذا القرار، وأن يدرج في جدول اﻷعمال المؤقت للدورة المذكورة بندا عنوانه " تطبيق ضمانات الوكالة في الشرق اﻷوسط " .
