A plenary meeting will be held on Wednesday, 30 October 2013 at 10:00, in order to consider the following items: By-election to fill vacancies resulting from four members from the Western European and other States relinquishing their seats [item 114 (b)]; Election of seven members of the Committee for Programme and Coordination [item 115 (a)]; and Election of eighteen members of the Economic and Social Council [item 114 (b)].

The by-election to fill vacancies in the Economic and Social Council resulting from four members from the Western European and other States relinquishing their seats under sub-item (b) of agenda item 114, originally scheduled for Wednesday, 30 October has been moved to Monday, 18 November 2013.
وقد نُقل موعد الانتخابات الفرعية في المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي، التي كان من المقرر إجراؤها في إطار البند الفرعي (ب) من البند 114، لملء الشواغر الناجمة عن تخلي أربعة أعضاء من مجموعة دول أوروبا الغربية ودول أخرى عن مقاعدهم، اليوم 30 تشرين الأول/ أكتوبر 2013، إلى يوم الاثنين 18 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2013.

The Council further postponed the election of four members from the Group of Western European and other States for a term beginning on the date of election, two for a term expiring on 31 December 2011 and two for a term expiring on 31 December 2012.
