124. While it welcomes the publication of the report, the Committee recommends that the fourteenth periodic report of the State party, as well as the present concluding observations be widely disseminated among the public at large.

239. The Committee considered the fourteenth periodic report of Iceland (CERD/C/299/Add.4) at its 1202nd meeting (CERD/C/SR.1202), on 13 March 1997, and at its 1212th meeting, on 20 March 1997, adopted the following concluding observations.

3.5 Referring also to the fourteenth periodic report of the State party to the Committee, the petitioners complain that while all cases in which a provisional charge has been brought under section 266 (b) must be submitted for decision to the Director of Public Prosecutions, those that are rejected without a provisional charge are only notified to the same authority.

The Committee considered the fourteenth periodic report of Austria (CERD/C/362/Add.7) at its 1502nd and 1503rd meetings (CERD/C/SR.1502 and 1503), held on 7 and 8 March 2002, and at its 1520th meeting (CERD/C/SR.1520), on 21 March 2002, adopted the following concluding observations.

The Committee also notes with appreciation that the report includes responses to the concerns raised in the previous concluding observations (CERD/C/304/Add.93) issued in April 2000, concerning the fourteenth periodic report of Denmark.
