The resolution reiterated the recommendation that the Government of Switzerland, in its capacity as depositary of the Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War should reconvene as soon as possible a Conference of High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention on measures to enforce the Convention in the Occupied Palestinian Territory.

It further recommends to the Government of Switzerland, in its capacity as depositary of the Fourth Geneva Convention, to undertake the necessary steps as soon as possible to reconvene a Conference of High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention on measures to enforce the Convention in the occupied Palestinian territory, including East Jerusalem, and to ensure its respect in accordance with common article 1.
كما يوصي مشروع القرار حكومة سويسرا، بصفتها الحكومة الوديعة لاتفاقية جنيف الرابعة، بأن تتخذ الخطوات اللازمة في أقرب وقت ممكن لإعادة انعقاد مؤتمر الأطراف المتعاقدة السامية في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة بشأن تدابير إنفاذ الاتفاقية في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، وكفالة احترامها وفقا للمادة 1 المشتركة.

In this regard, Palestine has also continued to call for a reconvening of the Conference of High Contracting Parties to the Fourth Geneva Convention on measures to enforce the Convention in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, as called for by relevant General Assembly and Human Rights Council resolutions, including in follow-up of the recommendations of the Goldstone Report.
وفي هذا الصدد، واصلت فلسطين أيضا الدعوة إلى إعادة عقد مؤتمر الأطراف السامية المتعاقدة في اتفاقية جنيف الرابعة بشأن تدابير إنفاذ الاتفاقية في الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، بما فيها القدس الشرقية، على النحو الذي دعت إليه القرارات ذات الصلة للجمعية العامة ومجلس حقوق الإنسان ومجلس الأمن، بما في ذلك تنفيذ توصيات تقرير غولدستون.
