At the Caribbean regional seminar convened under the auspices of the Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples in Frigate Bay, Saint Kitts and Nevis, from 12 to 14 May 2009, the Chief Minister of Montserrat stressed that the territorial Government should explore the possibility of free association with the United Kingdom.
