وقد ناشدت الأمم المتحدة حكومة السودان وقف تنفيذ أحكام الإعدام، وإعادة النظر في القضايا، واتخاذ كافة التدابير اللازمة لحماية من يُدعى أنهم جنود أطفال من عقوبة الإعدام وفقا للقانون الوطني والقانون الدولي الواجب التطبيق. كما ينبغي لحركة العدل والمساواة أن تكف عن ممارسة تجنيد واستخدام الأطفال وتعريضهم للمخاطر.
