The Criminal Code prescribes a penalty in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of not more than two years or corrective labour for a term of not more than one year for preventing a citizen of the Azerbaijani Republic by violence, fraud, threats or bribery from exercising his right to vote (art. 134).
