165. Article 14 provides that the prison administration must inform a parent, child, sibling or spouse of the inmate, according to their choice, upon their admission to prison and whenever he or she are transferred from one prison to another. 165- كما ينصّ الفصل 14 على أنه يتعيّن على إدارة السجن إعلام أحد أصول أو فروع أو إخوة أو زوج السجين حسب اختياره، وذلك بمجرد الإيداع، وكلما تمّ نقله من سجن إلى آخر، كما يتعيّن على كل سجين الإدلاء عند إيداعه السجن باسم وعنوان الشخص الذي يمكن الاتصال به عند حدوث طارئ له.

4.17 As regards the author's complaint that he lost six tapes (with German translations of English original tapes) when being transferred from one prison to another, and that he has not received sufficient compensation, the State party explains that the compensation paid was based on the cost to the author to have these tapes translated.
٤-١٧ وفيما يتعلق بشكوى صاحب البلاغ من أنه فقد ستة أشرطة )بترجمة باﻷلمانية لﻷشرطة اﻷصلية بالانكليزية( عندما كان ينقل من سجن إلى آخر، وأنه لم يحصل على تعويض كاف، توضح الدولة الطرف أن التعويض المدفوع كان على أساس التكلفة التي تكبدها صاحب البلاغ لترجمة هذه اﻷشرطة.

(19) The Committee notes, based on the information provided by the State party, that a framework or procedures allowing prisoners to file complaints is in place, but the Committee remains concerned that the procedures differ from one prison to another and that the prisoners are not aware of their right to complain as ensured by article 13 of the Convention.
