In terms of scope, this is the same immunity from foreign criminal jurisdiction as the immunity of heads of diplomatic missions or other diplomatic agents from the criminal jurisdiction of the receiving State under the 1961 Convention on Diplomatic Relations and customary international law, or of representatives of the sending State and members of the diplomatic personnel of special missions under the 1969 Convention on Special Missions.
