One exception is the TPN 3 activities which have received support from the GEF.

The training programme uses a module developed for assisting countries to prepare projects that can attract funding from the GEF, as well as from any other sources.

From a relatively small funding base, the TFRE has been able to leverage funding from the GEF and other sources.
