The workshop was hosted by the Ministry of National Economy of Oman and was attended by 15 representatives from the national statistical offices of nine Arab countries (Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Oman, Sudan, Syrian Arab Republic, Tunisia, Yemen and State of Palestine).

As a part of the process of collection and compilation of national data on general industrial statistics from the national statistical offices (NSOs) of nonOECD countries, the UNIDO questionnaires, prefilled from the INDSTAT database, have been prepared and distributed to the NSOs.
40- وفي إطار عملية جمع وإعداد البيانات الوطنية عن الإحصاءات الصناعية العامة، المستمدة من المكاتب الإحصائية الوطنية التابعة للبلدان غير الأعضاء في منظمة التعاون والتنمية في الميدان الاقتصادي، أُعدّت استبيانات اليونيدو المملوءة سلفا من قاعدة بيانات اليونيدو، للإحصاءات الصناعية، ووُزّعت على المكاتب الإحصائية الوطنية.

Representatives from the national statistical offices and from national ministries of culture and similar authorities, as well as regional experts and representatives from international organizations also took part in these regional consultations.
