Thus, two agreements in the area of concern have been prepared and are ready to be signed, i.e. the Bilateral Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and Portugal regarding temporary residence for purpose of employment of migrant labor force from the Republic of Moldova in Portugal and the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Italy on the issue of labor.

Out of the total number of victims, 116 were citizens of the Republic of Serbia, 3 were from Romania, 2 were from the Dominican Republic, 1 from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, 1 from Albania, 1 from the Republic of Moldova, 1 from Bosnia and Herzegovina, 1 from Montenegro and 1 victim was a citizen of the Czech Republic.

The Committee observes that in order to be re-deported to the Republic of Moldova under the provisions of article 24 of Romania Law No. 302/2004, there must be an extradition request from the Republic of Moldova that the author is wanted for criminal proceedings.

The Committee recommends that the State party strengthen its efforts to address the socio-economic issues facing the Roma population, including through effective implementation, adequate resourcing and effective monitoring of the Action Plan for the Support of the Roma People from the Republic of Moldova for 2011 - 2015.
توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بتعزيز جهودها لمعالجة القضايا الاقتصادية والاجتماعية التي يواجهها السكان الغجر بوسائل منها التنفيذ والرصد الفعالين لخطة العمل المتعلقة بدعم السكان الغجر في جمهورية مولدوفا للفترة 2011-2015 وتوفير الموارد الكافية للخطة.
