49. The Committee noted with appreciation the efforts by the Secretariat to improve utilization of the conference facilities at the United Nations Office at Nairobi, in particular with regard to the pilot project to provide remote interpretation from the United Nations Office at Vienna.
٤٩ - ولاحظت اللجنة مع التقدير الجهود التي بذلتها اﻷمانة العامة لتحسين استخدام مرافق المؤتمرات في مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة في نيروبي، وبخاصة فيما يتعلق بالمشروع الرائد لتوفير الترجمة الشفوية عن بعد من مكتب اﻷمم المتحدة في فيينا.

40. The Advisory Committee recalls that, in paragraph IV.63 of chapter II of its first report (A/52/7 (Chap. II, Part IV)), it indicated that, from the information provided, it believed that convincing arguments had not yet been stated in support of the redeployment of one D-1 post from the United Nations Office at Vienna to the Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Division (now the Centre for International Crime Prevention).
