١٥٠ - وأحاطت اللجنة علما مع اﻹهتمام باقتراح الوفد اﻷوكراني باستخدام مركز إفباتوريا لاتصالات العلوم العميقة كأساس لمركز دولي جديد ﻷبحاث الفضاء يمكن أن يستخدمه برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للتطبيقات الفضائية في أنشطته من أجل زيادة تعزيز التعاون الدولي في مجال استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية.

A Second International Decade was proclaimed by the General Assembly in its resolution 59/174 of 20 December 2004, which aims at further strengthening international cooperation for the solution of problems faced by indigenous peoples, by means of actionoriented programmes and specific projects, increased technical assistance and relevant standard-setting activities.

١٦٢ - وأحاطت اللجنة علما، مع الاهتمام باقتراح وفد أوكرانيا الداعي إلى استخدام مركز " يفباتوريا " لاتصالات الفضاء السحيق كأساس لمركز دولي جديد ﻷبحاث الفضاء، يمكن أن يستخدمه برنامج اﻷمم المتحدة للتطبيقات الفضائية في الاضطلاع بأنشطته، باعتبار ذلك وسيلة من وسائل زيادة تعزيز التعاون الدولي في استخدام الفضاء الخارجي في اﻷغراض السلمية.

The observer for the Syrian Arab Republic, speaking on behalf of the Arab States, referred to Economic and Social Council resolution 2004/30 of 21 July 2004, and welcomed the initiative of the Government of Qatar to host the Second World Summit of Attorneys General and General Prosecutors, Chief Prosecutors and Ministers of Justice in Doha in November 2005, as a contribution to further strengthening international cooperation in criminal matters.
