The Commission also recalled, with gratitude, the work of the former Special Rapporteur on the topic, Mr. Zdzislaw Galicki.
كما أشارت اللجنة مع الامتنان إلى أعمال المقرر الخاص السابق المعني بهذا الموضوع، السيد جيسلاف غاليتسكي.

At this juncture, no Special Rapporteur was appointed in place of Mr. Galicki, who was no longer a member of the Commission.

67. Mr. Galicki (Special Rapporteur) said that after three years' work on the topic of the obligation to extradite or prosecute (aut dedere aut judicare), it had become evident that the effort was losing momentum.

However, since the Commission has decided not to have the outcome of the Commission's work on this topic take the form of draft articles, it has found it unnecessary to come up with alternative formulas to the one proposed by Mr. Galicki.
