2. In line with the recommendations of the mid-term evaluation and with relevant General Assembly and Commission on Human Rights resolutions, the contribution of the Office of the High Commissioner to the Decade's objectives has continued to focus on the following courses of action:

Over the past years, the General Assembly and Commission on Human Rights have repeatedly called for the establishment and strengthening of national human rights institutions, underlining the important role that such institutions play in promoting and protecting human rights.
وخلال السنوات الأخيرة، دعت الجمعية العامة ولجنة حقوق الإنسان مرارا إلى إقامة مؤسسات وطنية لحقوق الإنسان وإلى تعزيزها، وشددتا على الدور الهام الذي تضطلع به هذه المؤسسات في مجال تعزيز حقوق الإنسان وحمايتها.

Mindful of all relevant General Assembly and Commission on Human Rights resolutions on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, in particular Commission resolution 2004/37 of 19 April 2004 and Assembly resolution 61/173 of 19 December 2006,
وإذ يضع في اعتباره أيضاً جميع قرارات الجمعية العامة ولجنة حقوق الإنسان ذات الصلة بحالات الإعدام خارج القضاء أو بإجراءات موجزة أو تعسفاً، ولا سيما قرار لجنة حقوق الإنسان 2004/37 المؤرخ 19 نيسان/أبريل 2004 وقرار الجمعية العامة 61/173 المؤرخ 19 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2006،

20. First and foremost, OHCHR will identify target countries that meet both General Assembly and Commission on Human Rights criteria i.e. that are un- or underrepresented in the United Nations Secretariat as a whole and at OHCHR.
