Requests the Governing Council to prepare a report on the role and activities of the United Nations Environment Programme in the implementation of Agenda 21, in accordance with its mandate, and to submit that report to the General Assembly at its special session on the overall review and appraisal of the implementation of Agenda 21;

2 - ويعتبر اعتماد الوثيقة المعنونة " عالم مناسب للأطفال " (القرار د إ - 27/2، المرفق) من جانب الجمعية العامة في دورتها الاستثنائية المعنية بالطفل، بمثابة التزام مجدد بحماية الأطفال في حالات الصراع المسلح، وفقا للقانون الإنساني الدولي وقوانين حقوق الإنسان.

75. The Committee recommends that the State party strengthen its efforts to adopt and implement a National Plan of Action which covers all areas under the Convention and takes into account the outcome document " A world fit for children " adopted by the General Assembly at its special session on children held in May 2002.

At the same time, the Committee recommends that the State party develop and implement effectively a National Plan of Action for children, taking into account the Declaration and the Plan of Action contained in the document " A world fit for children " adopted by the General Assembly at its special session on children in May 2002.

Building on the agreement reached by the General Assembly at its special session on population and development, held in 1999, I propose a strategy to contain and reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS, focused on young men and women between the ages of 15 and 24, and to provide better care for those living with the illness.
