4.5 Finally, the State party states that Mr. Gridin was questioned in the presence of the defence lawyer who was assigned to him in accordance with the law.

The State party notes that Mr. Gridin was arrested on 25 November 1989 and on 1 December 1989 his mother V.V. Gridina, wrote requesting that the defence lawyer should be invited to participate in the investigations.
وتلاحظ الدولة الطرف أن السيد غريدين اعتقل في 25 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1989، وفي 1 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1989، طلبت والدته، السيدة ف. ف. غريدينا دعوة محامي الدفاع إلى المشاركة في التحقيقات.

On 5 December 1989 an agreement was concluded between Gridin's relatives and the lawyer who, from that time, was allowed to participate.

(8) The Committee is concerned that the State party has not implemented the Committee's Views under the Optional Protocol in the cases of Gridin v. Russian Federation and Lantsov v. Russian Federation.
(8) يساور اللجنة القلق لأن الدولة الطرف لم تنفذ ما اقترحته عليها اللجنة من آراء بموجب البروتوكول الاختياري فيما يتعلق بقضية غريدين ضد الاتحاد الروسي وقضية لانتسوف ضد الاتحاد الروسي.

In case No. 770/1997 (Gridin v. Russia), the Committee found that the court's failure to control the hostile atmosphere in the courtroom during the trial of the author constituted a violation of paragraph 1 of article 14.
577- وفي القضية رقم 770/1997 (غريدين ضد روسيا) وجدت اللجنة أن عدم قدرة المحكمة على ضبط الأجواء العدائية في قاعة المحكمة خلال محاكمة مقدم البلاغ يشكل انتهاكاً للفقرة 1 من المادة 14.

In case No. 770/1997 (Gridin v. Russia) high-ranking law enforcement officials had made statements portraying the author as guilty and these statements had been given wide media coverage.
وفي القضية رقم 770/1997 (غريدين ضد روسيا) أدلى مسؤولون عن إنفاذ القوانين رفيعو المستوى ببيانات تصور مقدم البلاغ على أنه مذنب وتمت تغطية هذه البيانات تغطية واسعة النطاق في وسائل الإعلام.

In case No. 770/1997 (Gridin v. Russia), the Committee found that denying the author, who was in police detention, access to legal counsel after he had requested such access and interrogating him during that time constituted a violation of this provision.
