By paragraph 23 of that resolution, the Council requested that I report, by 23 May 2012, on the progress on the ground and the significant events of the electoral process, including on United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUSCO) support to that process.

Based on these visits, which were closely coordinated with United Nations officials on the ground and the national parliament, it emerged that various parts of the United Nations system in the country were involved in facilitating support to the parliament so that it could better work on implementation of global commitments.

The present report is submitted pursuant to Security Council resolution 2062 (2012) of 26 July 2012, by which the Council extended the mandate of the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) until 31 July 2013 and requested that I provide, no later than 30 June 2013, a final report on the situation on the ground and the implementation of the resolution.

I encourage them to cooperate fully with MISCA and other international forces, as well as with my Special Representative on the ground and the proposed peacekeeping mission, once it deploys.
وأشجع هذه الجهات على أن تتعاون تعاونا كاملا مع قوات بعثة الدعم الدولية وغيرها من القوات الدولية وكذلك مع ممثلي الخاص في الميدان ومع بعثة حفظ السلام المقترحة فور نشرها.

Only in that way, will we be able to ensure that the efforts of the United Nations are adapted to the realities on the ground and the efforts of other partners in the international community.

On 3 August, the Council held a debate on Kosovo, during which Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) Lamberto Zannier briefed the Council on the situation on the ground and the work of UNMIK.
في 3 آب/أغسطس، عقد المجلس مناقشة بشأن كوسوفو، قدم خلالها لامبرتو زانييه الممثل الخاص للأمين العام ورئيس بعثة الأمم المتحدة للإدارة المؤقتة في كوسوفو إحاطة أطلع فيها المجلس على الحالة على أرض الواقع وعلى عمل بعثة الأمم المتحدة.

To all these officials, he presented the situation obtaining on the ground and the political and other efforts being exerted by the African Union, and exchanged views with them on the best ways and means of ensuring more sustained international action in support of MISCA.
وعرض الممثل الخاص للاتحاد الأفريقي أمام كل محاوريه الحالة السائدة في الميدان والجهود السياسية وغيرها من الجهود التي يبذلها الاتحاد الأفريقي، وتبادل وجهات النظر معهم بشأن أفضل سبل ووسائل اتخاذ تدابير فعالة على الصعيد الدولي دعما لبعثة الدعم الدولية.
