After the submission by the Secretary-General of the report requested under General Assembly resolution ES-10/2, the tenth emergency session was resumed on 15 July 1997 at the request of the Permanent Representative of Egypt, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of July 1997.

6. On 14 November, Afghanistan, Egypt, in its capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November 1995, and Malaysia submitted a revised draft resolution (A/C.1/50/L.19/Rev.1), which contained the following changes:
٦ - وفي ١٤ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قامت أفغانستان وماليزيا ومصر، بصفتها رئيسة مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥، بتقديم مشروع قرار منقح )A/C.1/50/L.19/Rev.1(. تضمن التغييرات التالية:

In pursuance of General Assembly resolution ES-10/5 of 17 March 1998, the emergency special session was resumed on 5 February 1999 at the request of the Permanent Representative of Jordan, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of January 1999.
وعملا بقرار الجمعية العامة دإط - ٠١/٥ المؤرخ ٧١ آذار/ مارس ٨٩٩١، استؤنفت الدورة الاستثنائية الطارئة في ٥ شباط/فبراير ٩٩٩١ بناء على طلب المندوب الدائم لﻷردن، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر كانون الثاني/يناير ٩٩٩١.

37. The Security Council met on 14 October 2003, at the request of the Permanent Representative of the Syrian Arab Republic in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of October (see S/2003/973).

42. At the request of the Permanent Representative of Jordan, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of March 2002 (S/2002/329), and the Permanent Representative of Qatar (S/2002/331), the Security Council resumed its consideration of the agenda item.

46. On 18 and 19 April 2002, at the request of the Permanent Representative of Tunisia, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of April 2002 (S/2002/431), the Security Council resumed its consideration of the agenda item.

48. The Security Council met again on 3 May 2002 at the request of the Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of the Sudan, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of May 2002 (S/2002/510).
48 - واجتمع مجلس الأمن من جديد في 3 أيار/مايو 2002 بناء على طلب القائم بالأعمال بالنيابة لبعثة السودان الدائمة، بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر أيار/مايو 2002 (S/2002/510).

5. At the 16th meeting, on 8 November, the representative of Egypt, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November 1995, introduced a draft resolution entitled " The risk of nuclear proliferation in the Middle East " (A/C.1/50/L.19), which was later also sponsored by Afghanistan.
٥ - في الجلسة ١٦ المعقودة في ٨ تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر، قدم ممثل مصر بصفته رئيس مجموعة الدول العربية لشهر تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر ١٩٩٥، مشروع قرار بعنوان " خطر الانتشار النووي في الشرق اﻷوسط " )A/C.1/50/L.19( الذي شاركت أفغانستان أيضا في تقديمه فيما بعد.

The Committee resumed its consideration of the item and the representative of Egypt introduced the draft resolution (in her capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of November and on behalf of the sponsors as listed as well as Indonesia).

At the request of the Permanent Representative of Qatar to the United Nations, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of March (see A/51/822), and the Permanent Representative of Colombia in his capacity as Chairman of Non-Aligned Countries (see A/51/823), an urgent meeting of the General Assembly was held on 12 March 1997.

On 16 July 2004, the tenth emergency special session was again resumed (twelfth resumption) to consider the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, at the request of the Permanent Representative of Jordan in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of July (see A/ES-10/274).

34. On 20 December 2001, the emergency special session was resumed at the request of the Permanent Representative of Egypt, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of December 2001 (A/ES-10/130), and the Permanent Representative of South Africa, in his capacity as Chair of the Non-Aligned Movement (A/ES-10/131).

On 5 August 2002, the session was resumed at the request of the Permanent Representative of Oman, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of August 2002 (A/ES-10/187), and the Permanent Representative of South Africa, in his capacity as Chairman of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (A/ES-10/188).

43. At the request of the Permanent Representative of Tunisia, in his capacity as Chairman of the Group of Arab States for the month of April 2002 (S/2002/336), and the Permanent Representative of South Africa, in his capacity as Chairman of the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (S/2002/342), the Security Council met on 3 and 4 April 2002.
